The Healthy Living Pyramid (A2 poster, $3.50).
This is a food selection guide with a difference; it not only represents the proportions of foods that make up a healthy food intake but also promotes the need for regular physical activity. A ‘Move more' layer at the base of the pyramid shows lots of moving legs. It depicts the concept of physical activity as being an essential link with eating. In order to maintain body weight food eaten (energy in) needs to be balanced with physical activity (energy out). This poster can be used to provide the stimulus for life style change and weight management. Click here to view.
